Cracked's self-proclaimed "Violence & Gore-O Issue!" arrives in fine 1995 form, with cover artist John Severin delivering a gleefully over-the-top scene: a massively muscled brute clutching a bucket of popcorn holds court over a chaotic pile of action-movie tough guys — including a caped figure, an armored warrior, and what appears to be a wide-eyed hostage getting squished underfoot. The cover promises parody takes on Mortal Kombat: The Movie, Die Hard with a Vengeance, and Extreme Sports, making this a satisfying snapshot of mid-'90s pop culture getting cheerfully skewered.
