This "Special Last Issue" of Cracked goes out with a bang — literally — as John Severin's cover depicts a Cabbage Patch-style baby doll perched atop the globe of Earth, blissfully unaware that a lit fuse is burning down right beside her against a dark, star-filled sky. Promising parodies of ALF, Star Trek, and Beauty and the Beast alongside features on dinosaurs and life after the bomb, this 1989 farewell edition packs a lot of satirical ambition into one send-off. Don Martin contributes his trademark absurdist wit to the interior with "One Bright and Sunny Day," making this a fittingly irreverent curtain call for the long-running humor magazine.
