☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe issue contains two stories. "Mexican Massacre" features Arizona Raines and his sidekick Spurs confronting outlaws and a traitor within their organization who has been tipping off rustlers and bandits. "Two-Gun Lil" follows a frontier woman who becomes entangled in a murder mystery at a theater, where she must uncover the truth behind a killing while dealing with complications involving a romantic interest and theatrical intrigue.
Arizona Raines and his partner Spurs roll into the tyranny-ruled town of El Morte, where the silver-rich settlement grinds under the iron fist of Manuel Terez. When Raines plays a dangerous double game—appearing to sell his gun to the dictator while secretly working to expose the traitors and rebels within the palace—he must navigate betrayal, bombs, and his own partner's suspicion to bring down Terez's reign of terror. This nine-page showdown tests whether Raines can outwit a paranoid tyrant and his inner circle before the revolution collapses.
Two-Gun Lil Peters agrees to a night out at Casey's Saloon to catch a Shakespeare performance by the renowned actor Chauncey De Greef—but her evening takes a dark turn when she uncovers that the charming thespian is actually masterminding a counterfeit money operation using his traveling troupe as cover. With an innocent man forced to take the fall and a hostage in danger, Lil must piece together De Greef's scheme and stop him before his final act plays out on stage.
