From Epic Comics' early 1983 lineup comes this visually striking second issue of Marvel's supernatural series. Steve Leialoha's cover draws the eye immediately to Coyote — red-eyed and snarling, his face split by a ghostly mirror image — reaching toward a luminous, geometrically framed animal skull glowing with neon pinks, greens, and blues. The whole composition pulses with an otherworldly energy that makes clear this series was doing something genuinely different from anything else on the stands that year.
