David Mack's cover for issue #5 of Cover is a striking study in duality — a lone silhouetted figure walking forward, his painted reflection below rendered in vivid blues and reds, the whole composition framed within the series' boldly lettered title. The minimalist white space surrounding the image gives it a quiet intensity that perfectly suits a Jinxworld series Paradox called "a relentlessly impressive example of the possibilities of the comic book medium." Brian Michael Bendis and Mack's collaboration continues to use the comic form itself as both subject and canvas, and this issue's visual design alone makes a compelling case for why.
