Copperhead #12

This unsettling close-up from Scott Godlewski's cover puts a white-haired, bespectacled older man front and center — blue eyes wide, a razor blade held close to his lips, blood spattering dramatically across the left side of the image. It's a quietly menacing image that signals the kind of gritty, frontier noir tension that has made Jay Faerber and Drew Moss's sci-fi Western a standout at Image Comics. Issue #12 looks to keep the pressure squarely on, and that cover alone is reason enough to pick it up.
