Cookie is an anthology comic containing multiple humorous stories. "Jitterbuck Man's Man" follows Jitterbuck Jones, a ladies' man who claims to be through with women, but when he meets a blue-eyed girl in the library studying Latin, he becomes fascinated by her and ultimately asks her to the Spring Dance. Another story features Cookie and Brain attempting to help Pete purchase land by searching for oil on the property, using a homemade oil-detection device that comically proves unreliable. Additional comedic tales involve romantic entanglements at a dance, including characters named Debbie, Roger, and Pickles navigating various romantic mix-ups and misunderstandings.
