Coo Coo Comics #62 is an anthology featuring the Super-Adventures of Supermouse as the main story, in which villainous pirates capture Supermouse and threaten to destroy him with an infernal machine, but he manages to escape back to town where he encounters the criminals again. The issue also includes "Listen to the Mocking Bird" by Peter Nelson, where forest crickets challenge mocking birds to a singing contest to prove their musical superiority, and "Butch and Buttercup in Time to Retire," a humorous tale about two characters who discover a hundred-dollar bill and dream of retiring as wealthy individuals.
