☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis anthology comic features the adventures of Supermouse. The main story depicts Supermouse helping Santa Claus deliver Christmas toys and then enjoying a Christmas celebration with woodland creatures. "A Christmas Fable" by Mickey Marks tells of Petie Owl, who fears Santa won't visit him on Christmas Eve because owls sleep during the day, but is comforted by Mrs. Robin and receives Santa's kindness. "Butch and Buttercup in What's Cookin'?" follows the titular characters as they plan to attend Cyril Van Swanks's elaborate birthday party, leading to comedic mishaps and misunderstandings about the event details.
Dizzy Duck gets his hands on a book about self defense and isn't convinced it'll make much difference—until he runs into trouble on the street and discovers the techniques might be more useful than he thought. A lighthearted look at how a little knowledge can go a long way when you need it most.
Cuffy invents the "Sky Hat"—a flying contraption he's certain will make him a fortune—only to have spies whisk him away to the kingdom of Moronia, where a boy king demands he build one for the royal crown. When a scheming Duke Villin hijacks the flying crown for his own power grab, Cuffy finds himself caught in the chaos of a royal coup attempt. Back home and empty-handed, Cuffy discovers the patent office has rejected his invention as too dangerous—just as a friend shows up wearing a knockoff propeller hat of their own.
Coo Coo tries every mode of transportation imaginable to escape the cold and fly south for the winter—a plane, a train, a bus, even a ship—but each attempt comes with its own comedic catastrophe. After a grueling journey, the determined bird finally reaches his tropical destination, only to discover a rather chilling twist to where "south" has actually taken him. It's a warmly hilarious tale of one bird's misguided winter migration that proves sometimes the simplest solution is the best one.
Butch and Buttercup are desperate to crash Cyril Van Swank's legendary birthday party for a taste of his enormous five-foot cake, and when Butch claims to know the host from his old garbage route days, he's confident he can score invitations. But a delivery mishap at the bakery sets off a wild chain of accidents that lands both of them in hot water with the bakery boss—and gets Butch accidentally baked right into the replacement cake! It's a slapstick romp through flour sacks, vats of dough, and kitchen chaos as Buttercup scrambles to save his pal from an untimely fate as the main ingredient.
