Supermouse returns to his old hometown of Happytown only to find the normally cheerful place has fallen into gloom—everyone's exhausted and irritable, and even the local policeman has stopped chasing criminals. When Supermouse discovers that his old friend Sandy the Sandman has run out of stardust and can't put anyone to sleep, he sets out to collect fresh stardust from the stars themselves, only to run afoul of Big Bluster, the North Wind, who's been causing trouble of his own. With the fate of Happytown resting on his shoulders, Supermouse must face down the mischievous wind and restore peace to the town.

When Dizzy convinces his pal Bizzy to go into the ice-cream business together, their strawberry sundaes are an instant hit—but Dizzy grows frustrated that there's never any left for him. Desperate for a solution, he pitches an outrageous new flavor: pickle ice cream, convinced it'll be an exclusive sensation. What follows is a comedy of poor decisions as Dizzy learns a hard lesson about greed and innovation gone wrong.

Fisty, a hungry alley cat, spots a newspaper headline about the notorious pirate Captain Kitty and hatches a scheme to impersonate the feared buccaneer so that townspeople will give him food. But when he encounters the real Captain Kitty—a surprisingly well-dressed criminal—his masquerade spins wildly out of control, leading to a wild chase and a showdown at the swimming pool.

Munchy the squirrel returns home after a long day of acorn hunting, only to find an eagle has taken over his tree. When Munchy tries to convince the intruder to leave by showing him that eagles belong on mountain peaks instead of in trees, the plan backfires spectacularly—the eagle decides the tree *is* a mountain peak, and takes off flying with the whole thing! Now Munchy has to figure out how to reclaim his home before things get worse.

Butch and Buttercup are broke and desperate until Buttercup makes a quick sale—their house itself—for a dollar, which he promptly spends on a shovel to dig for buried treasure. When the scheme miraculously pays off and they uncover real gold, their triumph crumbles as fast as it came, thanks to a detail Buttercup forgot to mention about the original transaction.
