Convergence Swamp Thing #2

The concluding chapter of this two-part Convergence tie-in pits two of DC's most distinctive figures against each other in a genuinely unsettling showdown. Kelley Jones' cover captures a vampiric Batman — red-eyed, fanged, and mid-lunge — clashing with a snarling, fists-raised Swamp Thing against a darkness swarming with small bat creatures, the whole image rendered in Jones' wonderfully gothic, high-contrast style. Writer Len Wein, who has deep roots with the character, teams here with Jones and colorist Michelle Madsen for what promises to be a fittingly eerie finish to the story.
