“Home Is the Sailor”

In "Home Is the Sailor," Larry Hama crafts a tense, character-driven chapter of Convergence: Shadow of the Bat, spotlighting Azrael in the Wildstorm Universe as he narrowly escapes a Wetworks ambush and protects a young boy whose mother holds the key to saving two cities. With Rick Leonardi’s detailed art and Dan Green’s sharp inks, the story unfolds with quiet urgency, as Azrael’s choices test loyalty and sacrifice in a world where even allies may be enemies. Philip Tan’s cover captures the moment’s weight, framing Azrael’s resolve against a city on the edge.
