Convergence #2

Two very different Batmen dominate this striking 2015 cover by Ivan Reis and Joe Prado — a crouching, red-eyed figure in the foreground wears a bat-symbol rendered as a bold red cross, while a second, armored Batman stands behind him with a glowing chest emblem against a fiery orange sky. The contrast between the two figures is immediately arresting, hinting at the multiversal premise that drives DC's Convergence event. Issue two of eight, written by Jeff King with interior art by Carlo Pagulayan, promises to push that tension further.
