History

The one-shot grew directly out of writer Jason Loo's four-issue Dazzler miniseries (2024), where Loo and artist Rafael Loureiro first re-established Alison Blaire's world-tour corner of the Marvel Universe. Marvel announced the project in January 2025, framing it as the first in what Loo publicly called an 'annual' music festival event. Loureiro returned alongside co-artist Ruairí Coleman, with colors by Yen Nitro and Fer Sifuentes-Sujo and lettering by Ariana Maher — largely the same production team as the miniseries, giving the one-shot a visual and tonal continuity with that earlier work. Editor Martin Biro and Executive Editor Tom Brevoort oversaw the issue, with cover art by Javier Garrón and variant covers by Jeehyung Lee (whose design of Luna Snow for Netmarble had originally helped define the character) and Ivan Talavera; a fifth NetEase Games Marvel Rivals-branded variant acknowledged the game's role in elevating Luna Snow's mainstream profile.
