“Man Born of Demon!”

Gil Kane and John Romita deliver a charged cover for this June 1975 issue, depicting Conan lunging forward with blade in hand while a glowing bolt of supernatural energy crackles between him and a crowned, caped figure — Unos, "the Man-Witch Whose Eyes Deal Death!" — looming above in chains. A dark-haired woman is caught in the fray below, adding urgency to an already electrifying scene. With Roy Thomas scripting and John Buscema on interior art, this is mid-1970s Marvel sword-and-sorcery firing on all cylinders.
