The four-part Serpent War crossover reaches its finale with this 2020 Marvel issue, written by Jim Zub and illustrated by Ig Guara and Vanesa R. Del Rey. The cover by Carlos Pacheco and Aneke is a sweeping image: Conan and a band of warriors — cloaked figures, a red-haired youth, and others — surge forward through a writhing mass of serpents and drawn blades, while a towering, robed cosmic figure looms in a burst of radiant light behind them. It's a fitting capstone image for a story called "Kingdom of the Wyrm," promising a reckoning between mortal heroes and something far older and more powerful.
