Conan

In "The Eye of Erlik," Conan travels to Zamboula with the sorceress Isparana to deliver the cursed talisman known as the Eye of Erlik to its rightful owner, Akter Khan. Along the way, they are ambushed by the fanatical Yogites and rescued by the enigmatic Shanki, whose princess Derketari has died under strange circumstances. Once in Zamboula, Conan hands over the talisman—only to be betrayed, as Akter Khan attempts to kill him and imprisons Isparana. Forced to act, Conan allies with the exiled nobleman Balad, who has his own claim to the throne, setting the stage for a dangerous game of power and survival.
