This 18th volume of the French Conan le Barbare series collects stories from the original Marvel Conan the Barbarian run, featuring the barbarian's primal adventures and his struggle against savage forces. In "L'appel de la bête," Conan and Diana flee the ruins of Darfari, seeking refuge with the enigmatic Thutmekri. When Conan and Erfu volunteer to be taken as captives, their daring escape sets them on a perilous path through the desert’s hidden dangers. As tensions rise, Diana chooses to stay with Thutmekri, leaving Conan to forge a new alliance with Erfu—bound by survival and the call of the wild.
