This volume collects issue #39 of Planeta DeAgostini's Spanish-language run of Conan el Bárbaro, part of their 1986 series reprinting the classic Marvel comics featuring Robert E. Howard's iconic Cimmerian warrior. It continues the adventures of Conan through sword-and-sorcery tales translated for the Spanish market.
Conan the Barbarian #85 (1986) features the story "¡La sombra de la tumba!" with Conan as the central figure, drawn by John Buscema and inked by Ernie Chan, in a tale written by Roy Thomas, Beatriz Oberlander, and Amparo Úbeda. The cover, penciled by Gil Kane and inked by Ernie Chan, presents a striking image of Conan in his iconic setting.
