This volume collects issue #39 of Planeta DeAgostini's Spanish-language run of Conan el Bárbaro, part of their 1984 series reprinting classic adventures of Robert E. Howard's iconic Cimmerian warrior. It continues the barbarian's saga through sword-and-sorcery tales originally published in the US by Marvel Comics, featuring the character's brutal battles and mythical quests in the Hyborian Age.
Conan the Barbarian #38 (1984) features the story "La guerra de la eternidad," with Conan as the central figure. The issue was written by J. M. DeMatteis, Beatriz Oberlander, and Luisa Parra, and illustrated by John Buscema, with inking by Bob McLeod and coloring by George Roussos. The cover was penciled by John Buscema and inked by Terry Austin.
In "La guerra de la eternidad," Conan is drawn into a deadly tale of ancient vengeance when Eilaynia recounts the forgotten war between the lands of Nincenno and Mayella. As her story unfolds, she ensnares him in both passion and prophecy, compelling him to lead a desperate charge against Mayella’s forces. The line between myth and destiny blurs as blood is spilled and sacrifice demands its price.
In "Las brujas de Nexxx," Conan teams up with the reluctant allies Jo and Jonnwalli after the witches of Nexx reveal a shocking truth: the boys are sons of a malevolent god. With the sky-boat piloted by a skeletal crew, the trio journeys to Stygia, where ancient sorcery and dark bloodlines threaten to consume them all.
