This fifteenth volume of Planeta DeAgostini's Conan el Bárbaro series collects issues from the 1987 Marvel Comics run, continuing the adventures of Robert E. Howard's iconic Cimmerian warrior through sword-and-sorcery tales of combat, sorcery, and ancient Hyborian kingdoms.
Conan the Barbarian #128 (1987) features the story "Tiempos sangrientos," written by James C. Owsley, Beatriz Oberlander, and Amparo Úbeda, with art by Val Semeiks, inks by Geof Isherwood, and colors by George Roussos. The issue presents Conan in a tale of violence and survival, illustrated with dynamic, atmospheric visuals. The cover, also by Andy Kubert, depicts Conan in a moment of intense action.
In "Tiempos sangrientos," the ancient Devourer of Souls stirs once more, sending ripples of dread through the land. Conan, haunted by visions and growing unrest, finds himself targeted by Strabonus, who hires Red Sonja to eliminate him. Meanwhile, Kobe is taken by Bahkt and his warriors, and Solaise reaches out through magic, communing with Sedrick the cat in a moment of eerie stillness.
In "¡Sepultados vivos! [2]," Red Sonja and her companions are buried alive by a sudden avalanche, their survival hanging by a thread. As the snow piles high, the spirit of Achmal appears to Kynon, offering cryptic guidance, while ancient mammoths respond to a call only Kynon can hear—rushing to dig them free. But when they finally emerge, Sonja learns the harsh truth: Cavalok has betrayed her, leaving their fate uncertain.
