This fifteenth volume of Planeta DeAgostini's Conan el bárbaro series collects issues from the 1987 Marvel comic, continuing the adventures of Robert E. Howard's iconic Cimmerian warrior through sword-and-sorcery tales of battle, sorcery, and survival in the Hyborian Age.
Conan the Barbarian #120 (1987) features the story "La tierra arde [1]" with writing by Jim Owsley, Beatriz Oberlander, and Amparo Úbeda, art by Ernie Chan, and coloring by Steve Mellor. The issue presents Conan in a tale set in the Hyborian Age, illustrated in the distinctive style of Ernie Chan, whose work also defines the cover.
In "La tierra arde [1]," Conan leads a band of mercenaries into a foreboding castle where a defiant baron refuses to pay tribute to the king. As the siege begins, a maniacal jester emerges, twisting the air with cryptic taunts and unsettling games that unsettle even the toughest warriors. With shadows deepening and sanity fraying, Conan must navigate a nightmare where every ally could be a foe—and every jest, a threat.
In "La reina de hielo y sangre [2]," Red Sonja and her companions deliver a message from King Carlos to Lord Gym, only to face betrayal and death when Galon and Achmal fall in battle. As the journey turns treacherous, Sonja encounters a childhood friend—only to see her captured by a stranger who mistakes her for the warrior herself.
