Conan: Battle for the Serpent Crown #4

The fourth chapter of this 2020 Marvel miniseries delivers a breathtaking underwater showdown right on its cover — a bare-chested, muscular Conan is locked in a fierce grapple with a dark-clad, fishnet-armored opponent beneath the waves, sharks circling menacingly in the blue depths around them while a coiled green serpent lurks in the corner. Mahmud Asrar's cover art brings tremendous kinetic energy to the scene, with churning bubbles and a stray sword drifting past as the two combatants wrestle for dominance. With writing by Saladin Ahmed and interior art by Luke Ross with colors by Nolan Woodard, this issue looks to push the battle for the titular crown into dramatically deep waters.
