“Le dieu captif”

In "Le dieu captif," Conan finds himself caught between loyalty and vengeance as he serves the Turanian army during the siege of Makkalet. Written by Roy Thomas and illustrated by Barry Smith, P. Craig Russell, Val Mayerik, and Dan Adkins, this gripping tale unfolds across three parts—featuring a legendary living god, a treacherous betrayal, and a brutal clash with a monstrous amphibious deity. The cover, a striking piece by Barry Windsor-Smith, captures the dark, mythic tone of the story.
