“Secret of the Sea”

"Secret of the Sea" sees Diver Rankine, dismissed as unfit by his harsh trainer Gascoigne, prove him wrong by graduating and being posted to New Guinea to lead a small diving unit—only to find Gascoigne now under his command. As they navigate the challenges of their new roles, the two must set aside past tensions when tasked with salvaging torpedoes from a sunken Japanese submarine. With José María Jorge handling both art and inks, this gripping installment blends tense camaraderie with underwater peril.

Diver Rankine undergoes basic training by Gascoigne, who says he'll never make officer. Despite this Rankine graduates and is posted to New Guinea to take command of a small diving unit there. As luck would have it, Gascoigne has been posted there as well, and now finds himself outranked. Despite a difficult beginning, the two men learn to work together, especially after being sent to salvage torpedoes from a recently sunk Japanese submarine.
