Comet #200 is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. "Shorty the Deputy Sheriff" follows the small-town lawman as he discovers a bank robbery in progress and pursues the bandits, ultimately capturing them with characteristic comedic mishaps. "Tough Tex" depicts the muscular character dealing with escaped prisoners and guard dogs while attempting to retrieve a lost key to a safe. "Mick the Moon Boy" tells of a twelve-year-old boy and his deputy sheriff companion Hank who work to clean up the corrupt town of Indian Bend, facing off against the antagonistic Fats Creek and various gangsters threatening the community. "Possum" (illustrated story) follows Kit Carson and his companion Possum as they discover a cave being used to load supplies, engaging in combat with adversaries on a river island.
