Combat Kelly #6

From the cover by Dick Ayers and Paul Reinman, Kelly's Deadly Dozen storm a fortified position under heavy fire, with a grim-faced Kelly barking "Move, you meatheads! This is one hill we gotta take — or die tryin'!" as explosions tear apart the white-walled fortress around them. It's a visceral snapshot of Marvel's gritty 1973 war comics at their most intense, with soldiers pressing forward through the chaos while enemy defenders hold the high ground.
