Cullen Bunn and Mark Torres's supernatural series reaches its penultimate chapter with a cover that pulls you right into its icy dread — a ghostly figure with flowing hair is frozen within a jagged, snowflake-like formation, surrounded by swirling mist and an eerie blue-white light that radiates cold menace. Torres's painterly cover work gives the whole image an unsettling, otherworldly quality, as though the figure has been suspended somewhere between the living world and whatever lies beyond it. If this series has been on your radar, issue four of Cold Spots is a genuinely atmospheric entry in one of Image's more quietly haunting 2018 offerings.
