Cloak and Dagger #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeCloak and Dagger's ongoing 1985 series hits its second issue with a cover that announces something ominous — Cloak sweeps down from above with his billowing dark cape engulfing the scene, while Dagger blazes with radiant light energy at his side, the tagline "From Out of the Void…" hanging over a crowd of startled onlookers below. Rick Leonardi's pencils and Terry Austin's inks make the duo feel genuinely imposing, their contrasting powers of darkness and light playing off each other beautifully against the chaotic gathering beneath them. Bill Mantlo and Leonardi were delivering one of Marvel's more atmospheric street-level adventures at this point, and this cover makes a strong case for picking up the issue.
