Warren Ellis and Gary Erskine's gritty Image series continues with this June 2000 installment, and the cover makes a striking impression — a heavily tattooed, defiant young woman dominates the foreground, arms crossed, set against a vivid neon cityscape, while a glamorous blonde figure lingers behind her and a grey-toned man levels a pistol at the bottom of the frame. Erskine's linework, inked here with Mark Cox, crackles with street-level tension, and D'Israeli and Laura DePuy's coloring gives the whole composition a bold, lurid energy that perfectly suits Ellis's urban noir sensibility.
