Joanie takes a job as a stewardess on an ocean liner so she can see Paris during the two-week layover. On the voyage, she falls in love with fellow steward Jimmy. When they arrive in Paris, a chance encounter reveals Jimmy is actually a wealthy playboy, and Joanie feels deceived. Even when Jimmy rescues her from a street robbery, Joanie refuses to forgive him for his deception. On the return trip, Jimmy explains: he is learning the business from the bottom up, and he really loves Joanie. They reconcile.
