This issue contains two main stories. "My Gay Deception" follows a woman who was a technical assistant to a famous photographer at Hammond Photographic Studio and fell in love there, but lost her job; she later discovers the photographer's portrait was merely a photograph, and he didn't even know she existed, leading her to regret her "gay deception." "Queen for a Week" tells of Peggy Thorne, an aspiring actress who gets a chance to substitute for the famous star Annabel Arnise at Vanguard Studios; while standing in for Annabel, Peggy attracts the attention of handsome actor Carey Williams, who falls for her, but complications arise when he learns of her fiancé and his attachment to the real Annabel. A third story features a woman named Marcia who worked as a dancer and ran away, only to be found years later by Richard, a gardener who reveals he is actually a wealthy man named Richard Addison who had investigated a newspaper article about her father and has loved her all along.
