From Norma Editorial's Cimoc Extra Color line comes this 1994 Spanish album presenting "El rey de los perros," a complete work by the remarkably self-sufficient José Ortiz, who handled the pencils, inks, and colors both inside and on the cover. Paired with writer Antonio Segura, Ortiz brings his distinctive draftsmanship to what the title promises is a gritty, evocative tale. A fine showcase for one of Spanish comics' most accomplished illustrators.
