The unsettling cover art by Ben Templesmith bathes everything in a deep, scorched red — a skull lying flat and open-mouthed, pills labeled "Man Plus" cascading across and around it, with glowing green vein-like tendrils creeping into the frame. It's the kind of image that makes you uneasy before you've even cracked the spine. Three issues into this six-part Image series, McCool and Templesmith are clearly committed to keeping Choker as viscerally strange as ever.
