Chio's School Road #1

Tadataka Kawasaki's slice-of-life comedy arrives with a cover that perfectly sets the tone: a bespectacled, red-haired schoolgirl in her uniform has clearly taken a spectacular tumble, splayed flat on the ground with her satchel tumbling beside her, while an oblivious construction worker attends to a barrier just a few feet away. The sheer wide-eyed panic on her face — equal parts mortification and disbelief — promises that getting to school is anything but routine.
