Dr. Burris, obsessed with uncovering the missing link between Neanderthals and Cro-Magnons, builds a time machine and travels back to prehistoric times—only to find himself stranded. As he struggles to survive, he forms an unexpected bond with a group of Neanderthals who, despite their differences, begin to accept him as one of their own.
In "Haunted Gallery," a greedy lawyer schemes to inherit an old man's fortune, but after the old man's sudden death, the man's museum becomes a tomb of living art—each painting watching, waiting. As the lawyer's guilt takes root, the portraits begin to move, whisper, and follow him through the halls, turning the gallery into a prison of his own making.
