Chic Young's Dagwood Comics #140

This Giant-Size Harvey offering sends the beloved Bumstead household into orbit — literally. The cover shows Blondie lounging serenely in a chair reading Space Fashions while Dagwood and the family dog tumble weightlessly around her inside a rocket's bubble cockpit, sandwiches and all, as the spacecraft blasts through a star-filled sky. With the Katzenjammer Kids, Mr. Dithers, and The Little King also featured in the lineup, issue #140 packs in a wonderful roster of comic-strip favorites for a quarter well spent in 1965.
