Charlton's Cheyenne Kid #98 brings two stories to the frontier in this September 1973 issue — "A Good Time Was Had by All!" and "The Enemies!" Sanho Kim's cover captures a tense, dust-kicking confrontation between a blue-jacketed gunfighter and a fallen adversary in purple, rifles thrust forward in a desperate close-quarters struggle, while the ghostly image of a blonde woman looms large in the background. Joe Gill scripts and Kim handles both pencils and inks throughout, making this a fine showcase for one of Charlton's most reliably entertaining Western titles at a slim 20 cents.
