Cheyenne Kid #79

Charlton's Cheyenne Kid rides into issue #79 with "The Comanche Conqueror," and the cover — by Sanho Kim and Sal Gentile — sets a tense, atmospheric mood. The Kid dominates the foreground, steely-eyed and rifle in hand, his blue coat and yellow kerchief contrasting with the dusty scene behind him where mounted Comanche riders loom on a rocky ridge. It's a fine slice of 1970 Western comics craftsmanship, with Joe Gill writing and Sanho Kim handling the interior art, inking, and lettering throughout.
