This 1959 Charlton western finds the Cheyenne Kid crouched outside the Sheriff's Office, rifle in hand, cool and confident as a group of ghostly, threatening figures loom in a vision before him — a taunt bubble warning that he and his "friend Cheyenne" can't stop them met with his defiant "He'll See!" A posted sign teases the interior story, "The Crumbling Idol," promising the kind of frontier showdown that made Charlton's western line a dime well spent. Cover art by Bill Molno and Vince Alascia gives the scene a tense, atmospheric quality that suits the Kid's lone-gunman swagger perfectly.
