A lifeguard stand looms in the background as the cover's speech bubbles joke about the two-to-one boy-girl ratio — a ratio Cheryl has apparently already tipped in her favor. Dan DeCarlo's pencils and Henry Scarpelli's inks give the whole scene that breezy, sun-soaked charm that made Archie beach stories so irresistible throughout the era.
