This anthology issue contains multiple horror tales. "Portrait of Fear" follows Ben Lawrence, who investigates a haunted house where previous tenants died under mysterious circumstances, only to discover a supernatural portrait of a beautiful woman that comes to life and kisses him with deadly, seaweed-cold lips. "House of Horror" presents a catalog of monsters and demons allegedly born from a cursed dwelling, referencing Frankenstein's monster, vampires, mummies, the Ripper, and werewolves, before revealing the true horror exists in the human mind. "The Snake Man" depicts a circus performer with a serpent-like mind who escapes from captivity, with handlers attempting to recapture the confused creature before it causes further chaos.
