“The Ghoul!”

In "The Ghoul!", Stan Lee spins a chilling tale of terror and transformation, as a man ventures into the woods seeking proof of werewolves—only to become prey himself. Bill Everett’s stark, atmospheric art brings the dread to life, capturing the moment when a bite sets off a horrifying metamorphosis, and a desperate wife faces the monstrous truth of her husband’s fate. The cover by Larry Lieber and Frank Giacoia perfectly frames the story’s eerie, primal dread.
