In "The Thing in Challenger Mountain," five warriors from vastly different eras—gladiator, knight, Babylonian, cave man, and Viking—suddenly appear in a quiet town near Challenger Mountain, throwing the Challs into a frantic chase. As the team works to subdue the time-displaced fighters and bring them back to the mountain, a shocking intrusion from alien collector J’Kal and his monstrous enforcer Monstus turns the rescue into a desperate escape. Just as all seems lost, an alien lawman arrives to apprehend J’Kal and Monstus, leaving the fate of the warriors—and the Challs—hanging in the balance.
