Casper the Friendly Ghost #26

Paramount Pictures' favorite little ghost is back in this November 1954 Harvey Comics issue, and the cover sets a wonderfully playful tone — Casper squares off in a boxing match against a scrappy yellow pup in a red-striped shirt, trading glove-to-snout jabs while the dog's cap goes flying and puffs of breath fly from the impact. It's the kind of cheerful, good-natured mischief that made Casper a beloved fixture of mid-century all-ages comics, and with a story titled "High Kicks" waiting inside, there's clearly plenty of fun to come.
