Casper the Friendly Ghost #1

Harvey Classics launched this new Casper series in March 1991 with a cover that bursts with cheerful energy — Casper floats front and center against a glowing full moon, beaming and gesturing playfully while riding atop a red cartoon airplane piloted by an equally grinning bird character, the whole scene set above a whimsical cityscape dotted with oversized letters and a hot-air balloon. Jorge Pacheco's cover pencils and inks pack the image with lively detail, from rolling clouds to a crescent moon peeking in the corner. It's a genuinely charming opener for a series dedicated to everyone's favorite friendly ghost.
