In "Inspector Goof-Off," Spooky tries to impress Poil by rocking a full mod ensemble—Nehru jacket, bell-bottoms, medallion, and a long-haired toupee—only to spiral into paranoia when he starts believing the whole Enchanted Forest is secretly mocking his new look. With art by Howie Post on both pencils and inks, this 1976 Harvey classic captures the humor and self-conscious flair of a ghost trying too hard to fit in. The cover, by Warren Kremer, perfectly captures Spooky’s anxious vanity in a single, stylish frame.
