Carnage #11

That swirling sea of red and black symbiote mass — with those piercing white eyes glaring out from the darkness — makes for one of the most unsettling cover images of 2016, rendered with striking intensity by Mike Del Mundo. The title itself seems to writhe organically within Carnage's form, as if the lettering is alive and barely contained. With Gerry Conway writing and Mike Perkins on interior art, "What Dwells Beneath Part One" promises the kind of deep, creeping dread that the character demands.
