Captain Midnight #15

Captain Midnight cuts an imposing figure on this December 1943 Fawcett cover — helmeted, goggle-eyed, and draped in twin bandoliers of ammunition, with wartime aircraft streaking across the sky behind him. The cover copy poses the urgent question "Who Is the Kimberly Killer?" and promises that Capt. Midnight flies to confront him in this very issue. At a dime a copy, this is a fine snapshot of wartime adventure comics at full throttle.
