Captain Marvel Jr. #83

The cover blurb promises a time-travel tale, "Captain Marvel Jr. Goes Back in Time to Save the Man Who Lived History," and Schaffenberger makes the urgency feel genuinely thrilling against the backdrop of Tudor-style buildings and a bright open sky. With Otto Binder writing and Bud Thompson on interior art, this is a fine slice of early 1950s superhero adventure at its imaginative best.
